There's a lot of versatility with these arrangements because they can be relocated elsewhere after the ceremony for more use during the reception. They can also be brought inside if the weather doesn't cooperate for the outdoor ceremony. Attaching flowers to a structure like an arbor doesn't lend itself to the same versatility.
